ABOUT BRENDAN MURRAY
Famous for his membership in the Irish boyband Hometown . Along with his bandmates, he released the hit singles "Cry for Help" and "Where I Belong." In 2017, he'd represent his native country at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Dying to Try." He went on to compete on The X Factor (UK) in 2018.
Formed by The X Factor (UK) judge Louis Walsh , Murray's band Hometown made its debut in a 2014 episode of The Late Late Show , performing a version of the Katy Perry hit " Roar ."
He and his fellow Hometown members represented Ireland in the 2014-2015 North Vision Song Contest.
He was raised in Tuam, Galway, Ireland. His Hometown band "family" includes Ryan McLoughlin , Dayl Cronin , Josh Gray and Dean Gibbons .
Ed Sheeran wrote a song for Murray's band.
