Brenan Hanifee

ABOUT BRENAN HANIFEE

Right-handed relief pitcher who was originally drafted by the Baltimore Orioles as a fourth-rounder in 2016. After six years, he was signed by the Detroit Tigers in 2022. He was a member of the 2024 Tigers team that made it to the American League Division Series.

He first began his minor league baseball career with the Aberdeen IronBirds. After 12 games, he was promoted to the Delmarva Shorebirds.

He made his official major league debut while playing against the Oakland Athletics on September 21, 2023. He pitched two innings and collected two strikeouts.

He grew up living with his parents in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

He played alongside Tarik Skubal as a member of the Detroit Tigers during the 2024 MLB season.
