After outgrowing their family home in Lake Huron, Michigan, his family resolved to build a new house together in Caro, Michigan.

After appearing on TLC, the Putman family was profiled on news sites like In Touch Weekly.

Born to Bill and Barb Putman , he has four siblings: two brothers named Billy and Blake and one sister named Blair . He and his wife Kacie have five daughters named Emma, Bella, Mya, Nova, and Gia.
