ABOUT BOB NILSSON

Former relief pitcher known as one of the greatest to play his position in the Australian Baseball League.

He played for the Gold Coast Clippers when the Australian Baseball League was founded in 1989.

He finished his Australian baseball career with a 34-25 record and a 3.51 ERA.

He had three brothers, Dave, Gary and Ron, who all were professional baseball players.

He is the brother of retired Brewers catcher Dave Nilsson .
