ABOUT BOB JOHNSON
Ice hockey coach who guided college, international, and professional teams, including the Wisconsin Badgers men's hockey team from 1966 until 1982.
He played for John Mariucci and then served as a medic in the Korean War.
His nickname was "Badger Bob."
He fathered five children with his wife, Martha; one of his children became an NHL player.
He coached Mario Lemieux to a Stanley Cup victory in 1991.
