ABOUT BILLY RICHMOND

Basketball player known for playing as a left-handed wing for the Arkansas Razorbacks and who became one of the headline recruits of the 2024 cycle after originally committing to Kentucky but then following coach John Calipari to Arkansas.

He began playing high school basketball at Memphis East, then transferred to Camden High School in New Jersey to help propel him into the national rankings. He committed to Kentucky in December 2023, but he recommitted to Arkansas on April 26th, 2024, when coach John Calipari left Lexington in April 2024.

He participated in the Chris Paul and Jayson Tatum elite camps in 2025. His family owns the Memphis restaurant The Wing Guru.

He is Billy Richmond III. He grew up in Memphis, Tennessee in a basketball playing family. His father Billy Richmond Jr. played collegiately at Vanderbilt and Memphis.

He played alongside DJ Wagner Jr. while at Camden High School.
