ABOUT BILLY FOURQUET

Popular Puerto Rican radio host known for his work on the popular morning music show El Despelote on La Nueva 94. He was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2017 and succumbed to the disease in May of 2018.

He started working for the Spanish Broadcasting System in the early 90s and spent his entire broadcasting career with the company.

He was also an actor and appeared in three films that revolved around his radio show: Qué Despelotón!, Qué Joyitas! and Qué Despelote! La Película.

He is survived by widow Jennifer Castro.

He co-hosted with longtime partner Roque Jose Gallart Ortiz (Rocky the Kid).
