She studied social and political science at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, before going on to earn a master's degree in economics and development studies at the University of London .

In March 2022, she launched a Thursday night talk show on Sky News called Beth Rigby Interviews. On air, she analyzes political stories and interviews notable politicians.

She was born in Colchester, Essex, England, and raised in Buckinghamshire. She and her husband Angelo Ancafora have two children.
