Bernard Johnson

ABOUT BERNARD JOHNSON

English composer and organist who worked as Nottingham's City Organist in 1910.

He received his education at Selwyn College in Cambridge. He graduated in 1889.

He composed a variety of pieces, including the opera A Petticoat Princess.

He was born and raised in South Pickenham, Norfolk.

He was a contemporary of American composer George Gershwin .
