ABOUT BENJAMIN COOK

Writer, author, and journalist whose work has been featured in The Daily Telegraph, TV Times, The Stage, and countless other publications. He is also a renowned filmmaker well-known for his short film The Imp of the Perverse, as well as his documentary series "Becoming YouTube," which he presented through his NineBrassMonkeys YouTube channel.

At the age of 13, he was named the winner of a competition presented by Newsround - a reputed BBC children's news program. He attended Richmond upon Thames College before going on to study English Literature at the University of Durham's Collingwood College.

His book Doctor Who : The Writer's Tale, centered around his correspondence with Doctor Who executive producer Russell T. Davies , earned widespread acclaim, as well as 5-star reviews from Heat Magazine, SFX Magazine, and The Pink Paper. It was also earned a place on the shortlist of the Best Nonfiction category at the 2009 British Fantasy Awards.

Being of Italian heritage, he obtained Italian citizenship in 2019.

He has interviewed an extensive array of popular YouTube creators, including Charlie McDonnell , Emma Blackery , and Phil Lester .
