ABOUT BEN ZURAWSKI

Professional illustrator and flipbook maker whose notable clients have included Disney, Nickelodeon, eBay, Hulu, Samsung, Amazon, and countless other leading brands. His work has been featured by Time Magazine, Mental Floss, CNN, and countless other news and media outlets. He is also the founder of his TheFlippist YouTube channel, which has generated a tremendous following of over 1 million subscribers.

As a child, he was inspired by his father's eclectic collection of records, books, and toys, which had their very own room in his family's home. His father eventually introduced him to a flipbook of Mickey Mouse , the magic of which sparked in him a love of both animation and flipbooks alike.

He earned a Shorty Award for Best Use of IGTV with his Nickelodeon-commissioned flipbook celebrating the network's 40th anniversary in the year 2020. In January of 2022, he was commissioned by Hyundai to create a flipbook that was recreated with thousands of drones for a show on New Year's Eve in Seoul, South Korea.

In January 2010, he proposed to his now wife Summer on the set of the live stage show of Pee Wee's Playhouse at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, CA. In 2021, they welcomed their first child together - a son named Wilbur.

In February 2015, he was commissioned by the New York Giants to create a flipbook about the incredible one-handed catch that was named Play of the Year by Rookie of the Year Odell Beckham Jr. . He was also commissioned by the St. Louis Cardinals to create a flipbook celebrating the induction of Albert Pujols into the 700 Homerun Club in September 2022.
