ABOUT BEN JACOBS

Political journalist most famous for his writing for The Guardian and The Daily Beast. He was previously a freelance writer whose work was published in The Atlantic, Salon, The New Republic and other major outlets.

He was the president of the Iowa College Democrats while attending Grinnell College. He later graduated from the Duke University School of Law.

He was physically assaulted by Montana Republican Greg Gianforte during the state's at-large congressional district special election in 2017.

He has shared photos of his father on Instagram.

He has appeared with Glenn Thrush on the podcast The Kicker, created by Colombia Journalism Review.
