Right-handed pitcher who pitched six seasons professionally, including one season in the major leagues.
He was selected by the New York Yankees in the 31st round of the 1980 MLB Draft.
His lone big league victory came in 1983 when he gave up one run in six innings against the Kansas City Royals.
Upon his death, his family buried him in his home state of North Carolina.
He faced Hal McRae in 1983. The three-time All-Star went one-for-three against him.
