ABOUT BELINDA CARLISLE

Lead singer of the all-female pop-rock group the Go-Go's who also released solo hits like "Leave a Light On" and "Mad About You." She released her biography, called Lips Unsealed, in 2010. It was reached #27 on The New York Times Best Seller list.

She started her music career as a drummer for the punk band The Germs and sang with Black Randy and the Metrosquad.

She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2011.

She married film producer Morgan Mason in 1986. She and Mason have a son named James.

She and Jane Wiedlin were both original members of The Go-Go's.
