ABOUT BEATRIX KOVáCS
Professional guitarist and music content creator whose live shows on Reddit and educational videos on her self-titled YouTube channel have helped her gain a following of over 130,000 subscribers. She has partnered with prestigious musical brands such as D'Addarío, Manuel Rodríguez Guitars, Sirius, and Openhagen, and in 2022, she released her debut studio album engineered by Chamber Music Recording Studio, called "Journey."
She began her musical training in Kisvárda, Hungary, when she started attending Weiner Leo Music School. She went on to study at the University of Szeged's Béla Bartók Faculty of Arts before earning her master's degree in guitar education in the year 2021. She has been the recipient of awards and prizes in Hungary, Serbia, and Romania, and was sponsored by the Eötvös Music Foundation.
After earning a EuroStrings Scholarship, she participated in Zagreb's International Guitar Festival. She is the founder of a guitar quartet called FourTune, based in Italy. She also established her own digital musical education academy, for both Hungarian and English-speaking students. Additionally, her extensive research on the topic of music pedagogy has been published for use in a variety of educational materials.
She hails from Budapest, Hungary.
In 2024, she posted a video on her YouTube channel, an installment in her "Oh sheet!" video series, which featured fellow guitarist Stephanie Jones .
