ABOUT BARRY BROWN
American actor and author who appeared opposite Cybill Shepherd in the 1974 film, Daisy Miller. His performances in Piranha and Castle of Frankenstein bolstered his fame.
He began acting at age five and, at age ten, performed in a stage production of The Music Man that starred actor Van Johnson .
He committed suicide at his home in Los Angeles in 1978, at the age of twenty-seven.
His marriage to Jennie Vlahos in 1972 spanned two months. He was the brother of actress Marilyn Brown and novelist James Brown.
He and Jeff Bridges co-starred in the 1972 film, Bad Company.
