Former professional boxer who fought as a middleweight during his career and was number 7 in the world during the mid 1980s.
He started his boxing career in the early 1970s and turned pro in 1980.
He opened his own gym, Audia's Boxing Gym, in Pennington Gap, Virginia and has worked as owner and operator.
He married his wife, Paula in 1992 and the couple has a son, Barry Alan Audia II.
David Haye is another professional boxer.
