ABOUT BARATUNDE THURSTON
Writer and comedian known for weaving together stories involving tech, nature, and humankind. He hosted and executive produced the PBS television series America Outdoors with Baratunde Thurston . He also wrote a memoir titled How To Be Black.
He attended Sidwell Friends School. He graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Philosophy.
He also co-hosted the podcast How To Citizen with Baratunde Thurston. It was named one of Apple's favorite podcasts. He served on the boards of Civics Unplugged and the Brooklyn Public Library.
His father died when he was young. He has an older sister.
In 2015, he became a supervising producer on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah .
