Influential west coast rapper who began fronting the hip hop group Cypress Hill in 1988. In 1991, the group released their debut self-titled album.
Born Louis Freese, he spent time in a gang and suffered a gun shot wound in the lung in 1988 after dropping out of Bell High School.
He released his first solo latin rap album with Smoke N Mirrors in 2009 after releasing 8 albums with Cypress Hill.
He lived with his older sister in South Central L.A.
He was featured on Snoop Dogg 's 2006 single Vato.
