Veteran goalie that originally began her professional club career playing soccer for Recife SC. Since then, she has played soccer professionally in countries such as Brazil, Italy, Sweden, Germany and Spain. She has also played for the Brazilian women's national team.

She first discovered her passion for playing soccer as a young girl coming up.

After joining the Brazilian national team in the year 2007, she was given the opportunity to play in four different FIFA Women's World Cups. She also won a silver medal during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.

Growing up, she lived with her family in Recife, Brazil. She now lives with girlfriend Lidiane.

She has played alongside Rafaelle Souza as a member of the Brazilian women's national team during her professional career.
