ABOUT AUSTIN WARREN

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels during the sixth round of the 2018 Major League Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. During his junior season, he won the 2018 Colonial Athletic Association conference championship.

He is a graduate of Terry Sanford High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Initially, attended Wake Technical Community College.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Oakland Athletics on July 29, 2021. His team lost the game 4-0.

Growing up, he lives with his family in Fayetteville, North Carolina. His father, Marty, was once drafted by the Chicago White Sox .

He played alongside Jose Iglesias and David Fletcher as a member of the Angels during the 2021 regular season.
