ABOUT AUSTIN SLATER

Professional outfielder that was drafted by the San Francisco Giants during the eighth round of the 2014 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended Stanford University where he was named a member of the first team All-Pac-12 in 2014.

He began his professional career playing for the Giants' rookie affiliate team the AZL Giants.

He made his major league debut playing against the Philadelphia Phillies on June 2, 2017.

He is a native of Jacksonville, Florida.

He recorded his first career major league hit facing Joely Rodriguez .
