Filipino-American drag performer who is best known as one of the contestants of the fifteenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race . Her birth name is Jay-R de Leon but goes by the stage name Aura Mayari.

She attended Bartlett High School and graduated from Millikin University.

She is the 9th queen to be eliminated in the episode after having won a Maxi Challenge. Her Instagram account auramayari has garnered 130,000 followers.

She was born and raised in the Philippines. Her family relocated to the United States in 2003, and raised her in Chicago.

She was inspired to do drag after watching Manila Luzon compete on Season 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race.
