ABOUT ATUL GOGAVALE

One half of the musical composer/director duo Ajay-Atul with his younger brother Ajay.

Unable to afford proper musical training as a student, he played harmonium in the school music programs in order to learn. Upon graduation, he started composing jingles and music for advertising campaigns in Prune with rented keyboards.

For the score of Sairat, the duo went to Los Angeles to record with the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra.

His father is Ashok Gogavale.
