ABOUT ASA KAZINGMEI

Fashion designer who is known for starting and running his own high fashion label under his name. He is most recognized for having showcased his collection Immortal at the Lakme Fashion Week in India. He shares his designs and upcoming projects through Instagram for his over 110,000 followers.

He moved to Mumbai in 2008 to pursue his passion for fashion. He joined INIFD and after finishing, began working for Amber and Shirrin as a designer. He showcased Immortal in 2012 for the first time. He followed up the show with Changvei in 2014.

He is known for having showcased his unique pieces at an International Fashion Design Exhibition in Slovenia entitled Identitita where he represented India.

He was born and raised in Lunghar Village, Ukhrul into a family of seven.

A variety of celebrities can be seen wearing his clothing designs including Amir Khan , Varun Dhawan , and Akshay Kumar .
