ABOUT ANTHONY VENEZIANO

Southpaw reliever that was originally drafted by the Kansas City Royals as a tenth rounder in the 2019 Major League Baseball Draft. After five seasons pitching in the Royals organization, he was later signed by the Miami Marlins in September 2024. He has also pitched within the St. Louis Cardinals system.

While in college, he played baseball at Coastal Carolina University . He attended Coastal Carolina from 2017 until 2019.

He finished his collegiate career with the 31st most wins in Coastal Carolina program history. He also finished top ten in average 9.53 strikeouts per nine innings.

He grew up living with his family in Hackettstown, New Jersey.

He played alongside Salvador Pérez as a member of the Kansas City Royals during the 2023 MLB season.
