He was born with a genetic condition called Lebers Congenital Amaurosis. He struggled with obesity in middle-school before turning himself into an athlete through wrestling.

He was a high school wrestler. He competed for the College of New Jersey. He also surfs, skateboards, and plays guitar. His TikTok account has earned a massive following, with his videos on the platform achieving over 60 million likes.

He was born in Spring Lake, New Jersey. In October 2021, he married Kelly Anne Ferraro. His wife wore a custom wedding dress with many textures so he could "see" by feeling it. He has four brothers and sisters, and 55 cousins.
