She was born and raised in Brighton, England.
Her bandmate, Donna Matthews, wrote a song called "Annie" in her honor.
She temporarily left Elastica in 1995 because the band's intense touring schedule allowed her little time to see her family.
Her band Elastica featured lead vocals by Justine Frischmann .
