ABOUT ANITA HUFFINGTON
American sculptor who created bronze and stone representations of female torsos, including her piece La Mediterranee.
She studied dance in New York in the late 1950s.
Her private residency in the Ozark mountains has been described as giving her art "a further sense of mystery hiding under the ordinary" by Holland Cotter of The New York Times.
She and her husband left New York to live in the Ozarks of Arkansas in the 1970s.
She worked closely with bronze like fellow bronze sculptor Robert Graham .
