ABOUT ANGIE PéREZ

Award-winning bilingual journalist who is known for her work as a news anchor for KTMD Telemundo Houston. She is also known for being the host of the game show Brainteaser on Televen's primetime programming and for being a live translator for the E! network.

Her first major experience as a journalist was covering behind the scenes events at the Latin Billboard Awards in 2007. The following year she was a prime time news anchor for KLUZ Univision New Mexico.

She won an Emmy award for her role at Telemundo Houston for her series "Profecias del 2012" about Mayan and biblical prophecy.

She was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela.

She has also done acting work and appeared alongside Elizabeth Gutierrez and Martin Karpan in the telenovela series El Rostro de Analia in November of 2008.
