ABOUT ANGEL DE JESUS

Professional pitcher who was signed by the Detroit Tigers in 2016. He was once considered a Top 100 prospect in the Detroit minor league system. Through the 2022 season, he had an earned run average of 2.13.

He began his professional career playing for the DSL Tigers rookie affiliate team. He was later promoted to the GCL Tigers.

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Colorado Rockies on April 23, 2022. He pitched just two innings and recorded three strikeouts.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Samana, Dominican Republic.

He played alongside Javier Báez as a member of the Tigers during the 2022 MLB regular season.
