Left-handed pitcher who debuted for the Detroit Tigers in 2010.
He played college baseball for Oklahoma State University.
He was originally selected by the Minnesota Twins in the 17th round of the 2006 MLB Draft, but he chose to attend Oklahoma State instead.
His father David helped him receive a settlement from the NCAA when they unjustly declared him ineligible.
He went to the same college as six-time Glove Glove winner Robin Ventura , who had a 58-game hitting streak when he played at Oklahoma State.
