Former MLB pitcher who compiled a 38–33 record with a 3.38 ERA during his 11-year career.

He made his MLB debut on September 22, 1981 for the New York Yankees.

One of his best years came in 1986 with the Montreal Expos, when he won 10 games and lost 5, while posting a 2.65 ERA.

He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida.

He spent the last two seasons of his MLB career with the Kansas City Royals, alongside star third baseman George Brett .
