ABOUT ANDREW YOUNG

Professional infielder that was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals during the 37th round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He was acquired by the Arizona Diamondbacks via trade in December 2018.

He began his professional playing for the Cardinals' rookie affiliate team the GCL Cardinals.

He made his major league debut playing against the Los Angeles Dodgers on August 1, 2020 as a member of the Diamondbacks.

He is a native of West Fargo, North Dakota.

He recorded his first career major league hit facing Bryan Abreu .
