Rapper known for being a member of the rap duo Black Sheep, whose 1991 debut album A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing peaked at number 30 on the Billboard 200. He's more commonly known simply as Dres.
He first formed the duo with Mista Lawnge in 1989. After the group split in the mid-1990s, he released his first solo album in 1999.
He appeared in the 2000 film Once in the Life as Hector.
He has a son named Honor who's played with the band Cerebral Ballzy.
He performed on Twista 's 1994 album Resurrection.
