ABOUT ANDREI RADU

Romanian goalkeeper who has gained fame for his international club career, including for Italian Serie A club Genoa C.F.C. beginning in 2018. He previously made his Serie A debut in 2015 for Inter Milan.

He began his soccer career at age 8. He first joined the youth academy of Viitorul București.

He was named to UEFA's 2019 list of the 50 best young footballers to watch in that coming year. He had been previously nominated for the 2018 Gazeta Sporturilor Romanian Footballer of the Year award.

He was originally born and raised in Bucharest, Romania.

He and Domenico Criscito have played as teammates for Genoa C.F.C.
