ABOUT ANDRé VILLAS-BOAS

European soccer coach who began managing the Tottenham Hotspur in 2012. He became FC Porto president in 2024.

He never played professional soccer, but obtained his managerial licenses before turning 21.

He won the Europa League, Portuguese League, Portuguese Cup, and Portuguese Supercup as the manager of FC Porto in the 2010-2011 season. He earned top coaching honors in the Portuguese League for Professional Football in 2010, which helped him land a job managing Chelsea in 2011.

He married Joana Maria Noronha in 2004. By 2012, the couple had two daughters.

He managed Didier Drogba in the 2011-2012 season.
