ABOUT ANDERS MATTHESEN

Danish standup comedian, actor, and rapper also known as "Anden (the Duck)", who achieved fame with his "alter egos" and original characters. He has toured Denmark with the shows Bytte, bytte købmand and ANDERS. He also earned a Gold record for his 2006 rap album "Soevnloes."

He launched his comedy career after failing to earn success as a rap artist when he won 2nd place at the 1993 Danish Stand-Up Championship.

He won the Grand Danois for Best Laugh in 2007. He has also earned honors from the Bodil Awards, the Danish Film Awards, and the Zulu Awards.

He is the son of Hedda Matthesen. He married Cemille Rosenberg in 2013.

He starred with Cristiana Dell'Anna and Christopher Nissen in the 2022 film Toscana.
