She earned her bachelors degree in Architecture from ISCTE in Lisbon. She then earned her Masters of Architecture from Technische Universitat Darmstadt.

She is known for being a jury member for the Smart Urban Pioneers competition.

She was born in Lisbon but later resettled in Vienna.

Alvaro Siza is a fellow architect also from Lisbon.
