ABOUT AMR WARDA

Egyptian soccer star who rose to fame as a player for Greek clubs like Panetolikos and PAOK. In 2021, he joined Anorthosis Famagusta and earned accolades for his first season with the Cypriot club. At the international level, he represented Egypt in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

He played youth soccer with Sporting Alexandria and Al Ahly.

He was the Cypriot First Division Player of the Year for 2021-22. He shares highlights from his career on his ammrwardda Instagram account, where he has racked up more than 2.8 million followers.

His father, Mohsen Medhat Warda, played basketball in the 1984 Summer Olympics.

He and Mahmoud Hassan have played together as teammates for Egypt.
