ABOUT AMIL KAHALA WHITEHEAD

Better known by her stage name Amil, she is a rapper who found success teaming with Jay-Z and Ja Rule on the 1998 single "Can I Get A..."

She was part of a girl group called Major Coins, who were tapped to work with Jay-Z on his album Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life. Jay liked her freestyle skills, so he signed her to his label Roc-A-Fella Records.

Her 2000 solo debut, A.M.I.L. - All Money Is Legal featured the single "I Got That" featuring Beyoncé .

She has three children.

Amil has been featured on tracks with many singers including Mariah Carey , Jermaine Dupri , and LL Cool J .
