ABOUT AMEERA DAVID

Known for her time as a leading anchor, content producer, and reporter for RT America (formerly Russia Today.) In April 2015, she began her time as anchor of the network's economic news program Boom Bust.

She earned her bachelor's degree in political science, Spanish, and anthropology from the University of Michigan in 2008. She subsequently earned her master's degree in journalism from Columbia University in 2011.

She worked as a desk assistant and producer for NBC News in 2011-2012. She has developed her reputation for in-depth reporting as a White House correspondent for RT.

She was born and raised in the United States.

She interviewed Miss USA winner Rima Fakih for Arab Detroit in 2010.
