ABOUT ALLAN GANLEY
Jazz drummer, session musician, and arranger who was largely self-taught and who played with Johnny Dankworth's band.
He collaborated with many artists during the 1950s, including Derek Smith, Dizzy Reece , and Ronnie Scott .
He devised charts for the BBC Radio Big Band, as well as numerous British jazzmen.
His parents were residing in Tolworth, Surrey when he was born.
He was a fan of Miles Davis .
