ABOUT ALINA COJOCARU
Principal dancer most recognized for working with The Royal Ballet in London.
In spite of never having seen ballet growing up, she was encouraged to take classes; she wound up falling in love with it and decided to pursue a career in the field.
In 1997, she won the gold medal at the Prix de Lausanne, an elite international ballet competition; she was only 15.
She began a longterm relationship with Johan Kobborg in 2001.
She and Angel Corella are two world renowned international dancers.
