She began acting and modeling when she was 14 years old. She also became interested in health and fitness at a young age, because she wanted to help educate people and fight child obesity.
She eats an exclusively vegan diet, an idea that occurred to her when she saw a documentary about how meat is prepared in elementary schools. After that she realized it would also suit her workout routine.
She has two dogs named Pixie and Motley.
She had a recurring role on ABC's Wildfire in 2008 alongside Genevieve Padalecki .
