ABOUT ALEXIS PETRIDIS
Journalist who is known as the head rock and pop critic for The Guardian. He also contributed several articles to the popular magazine GQ.
He attended the University of Cambridge where he began writing for the student newspaper Varsity. He then became the editor of Select which started his professional career.
He has won several awards for his writing including the Record Reviews Writer of the Year as well as Artist and Music Features: Writer of the year in 2006.
He was born in Sunderland, England. He then moved to Buckinghamshire where he was raised.
He has reviewed several famous artists through The Guardian including Kesha , Brian Eno , Brian Wilson , Kendrick Lamar , and Bob Dylan .
