ABOUT ALEX VESIA

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Miami Marlins during the 17th round of the 2018 MLB Draft. He was acquired by the Los Angeles Dodgers via trade in February 2021.

He began his professional career playing for the Marlins' rookie affiliate team the GCL Marlins.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Philadelphia Phillies on July 25, 2020 as a member of the Marlins.

He is a native of Alpine, California.

During his first major league pitching appearance he struck out Didi Gregorius .
