Known online as Wheelchair Rapunzel, she found fame for being open about her disability and advocating for ending the stigma around disabled bodies and increasing their representation in media. Her wheelchair_rapunzel TikTok account has gained more than 1.2 million followers and 47 million likes.

She has spinal muscular atrophy, which is a rare genetic disorder that causes muscle loss. She attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale where she earned a degree in disability studies.

At age 10, she had a full spinal fusion surgery. She began her social media platforms after facing discrimination trying to find a job following college. With such a strong following on TikTok, she regularly sees her TikToks rack up tens of thousands of views. It is not unusual for her latest videos to amass more than 1 million views.

She announced that she and her boyfriend were pregnant on Instagram in September 2022. She gave birth to a daughter in March 2023.

In a May 2021 TikTok video, a content creator with the same genetic disorder (SMA), Erin Novakowski , stated she often gets confused to be Wheelchair Cinderella online.
