ABOUT ALEN PALANDER
Toronto-based creative director and photographer. He has earned over 750,000 Instagram followers and more than 9 million views on YouTube for his nature and travel photography. He is the creative director of Palander Studios.
He studied at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. He was educated and began working in urban design and architecture. He began photography and filmmaking as a hobby with no training.
He first started posting his photographs to Instagram, before starting his YouTube channel as a place to answer the questions he received from his followers. His YouTube videos include vlogs and tips about photography. He often draws inspiration for his work from architecture, design and different locales.
He was born and raised in Iraq and immigrated to Canada when he was six years old.
He posted pictures of Magic Johnson , Shawn Mendes , and Nick Jonas at WE Day Toronto in 2015.
