ABOUT ALASTAIR STEWART

English news anchor and broadcast journalist known for his more than three-decade career with ITV News. Also a philanthropist, he was involved with such charity organizations as Home-Start and Kids for Kids.

After studying at the University of Bristol, he began his career with the Southern Television network (based in Southampton, England).

He was the host of Alastair Stewart's Sunday Programme.

He raised four children with his wife Sally Ann Jung.

He once stated that he would very much like to interview musician Mick Jagger .
